Let’s connect.
I’m always happy to hear from students, families, and people interested in health data, information systems, or
human-centered teaching.

Collaboration ideas
When you write, it’s helpful if you can share a little context so I can respond thoughtfully. For example:
- For families: your child’s grade level, school, and the main challenges you’re seeing.
- For students: the course you’re taking and what feels confusing right now.
- For researchers: a brief note about your area of work and how our interests might overlap.
Response time.
I am currently balancing graduate coursework, tutoring, and ongoing projects. I usually reply within a few days and will let you know clearly if I am at capacity.

Short conversations
I periodically offer 30-minute Zoom conversations for:
- students from underrepresented or low-resource backgrounds who are curious about math, data, or healthcare;
- families navigating early quantitative coursework and feeling unsure where to start;
- peers or future collaborators interested in health data, EHR, and information equity.
If you’d like to request a short Zoom meeting, please include a few possible times (Pacific Time) and a
sentence about what you’d like to talk about. I can’t say yes to every request, but I do read each message
carefully.
*I do not use social media for professional communication; email is the most reliable way to reach me.
For faculty & future collaborators
If you are working in areas related to health data, EHR documentation, multilingual representation, or human-centered information systems and would like to connect, I’m always interested in learning about ongoing projects and research directions.
A short email introduction with links to a lab, paper, or project is very welcome.
